Spa Ladies welcomed Clounmacon/Moyvane on this wet and windy Monday evening for the second round of the Corrib Oil Senior Club League. 
It was a good start by Spa opening the scoreboard with two fine points but Clounmacon/Moyvane answered back and kept it a very close contest until a miss communication between the backs and Spa goalie gave the visitors a very soft goal. Spa regathered themselves brilliantly and were rewarded with a goal themselves soon afterwards so the sides were level going into half time with 1-05 a piece. 
The second half continued to be very exciting and competitive despite the poor weather conditions with strong defensive play from both sides accompanied by skilful turnovers by both teams. Unfortunately for Spa though the visitors narrowly just held out winning by just two points. The final score was 1-09 to 1-07 to Clounmacon/Moyvane. 
The Spa ladies are consistently putting out great performances and contesting in very close matches and no doubt their next game will be just as exciting when they travel to Abbeydorney on Monday 21st, throw in is 7:30pm
