Spa Senior Ladies are in Bon Secours County Championship Junior Premier action this Sunday when they welcome Glenflesk to Spa for a quarter-final clash.

Spa secured home advantage for the quarter-final after finishing second in Group 2. They recorded a win over Killarney Legion before a narrow defeat to Ballymac last weekend.

Glenflesk finished third in Group 1, behind Fossa and Laune Rangers, setting up another competitive meeting between the sides.

The two teams have already met twice this season, with Spa coming out on top on both occasions. Spa recorded a victory over Glenflesk during the Division 2 league campaign before also overcoming them in the semi-final of the Donal Curtin Cup. That game was a particularly close encounter, with Spa coming from behind, eventually securing a two-point victory.

With both sides familiar with each other, another tight contest is expected on Sunday as Spa look to book their place in the county championship semi-final.

The winners will travel to face Fossa next weekend.

Throw-in is at 12pm this Sunday in Spa, tickets are €5 with U18s going in Free. All support for the ladies would be greatly appreciated as they begin their championship knock-out campaign.
