Spa GAA Annual Awards Night

The annual Spa GAA Club Awards Night will take place at the Torc Hotel on Saturday February 1st 2020. Tickets are €20 and are available from members of the Awards Committee: Andrew Garnett (0861911263), Anne Holland (0857780883), Ivor Flynn (0871003142), Mathilda McCarthy (0876487356), Adrian O’Sullivan (0834510776) and Seanie Kelliher (0876298613). This is a sell-out event each year so people are advised to get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment

Online Registration is now open for 2020 and will remain open until the GAA deadline of Tuesday March 31st. Our Registrars for this year are Ger Mangan and Sean O'Sullivan. All players, officers, coaches etc MUST be registered club members to take part in club activities in 2020. East Kerry All Stars Awards Night will take place on Friday January 17th at the Brehon Hotel. Tickets are available from Club Treasurer Margaruite (0877714516).

Scór na nÓg Munster Finals

Well done to our Set Dancers and Tráth na gCeist teams who competed in the Munster Finals of Scór na nÓg in Ovens at the weekend. Our Tráth na gCeist team will join Glenflesk (Ballad) and Finuge (Instrumental Music) in the All Ireland Finals at the INEC in Killarney on February 1st.

Ireland Lights Up Weekly Walks

Spa GAA Club are once again taking part in the Operation Transformation Ireland Lights Up initiative, where a walking track will be lit up on the club grounds each Thursday night starting January 9th. Every Thursday night participants walk at their own pace around the 1km looped trail set out along the club grounds, some completing the loop multiple times. The clubhouse and walking trail will be lit up every Thursday night from 6.30pm to 8.30pm until February 13th, and everyone is welcome to come along and join in at any time. The walk is open to everyone in the local community and beyond (members and non-members) both young and old, and all participants are welcome to pop into the clubhouse for a cuppa or a healthy snack afterwards.
