CO LEAGUE RD2 SPA V LEGION
Spa welcomed Legion on Saturday evening in the second round of the Co League, and a strong first quarter gave us a solid lead that we maintained throughout the game. Full match report click here

Spa are home again next weekend in Rd3 against Kerins O’Rahillys (Saturday April 9th at 6.30pm).

Spa team: James Devane, Eric O’Donoghue, Brian Lynch, Ryan O’Carroll (0-1), Conor Stack (0-1), Shane Cronin (1-0), Mikey Moynihan, Michael Foley (0-1), Gary Vaughan, Liam Kearney, Evan Cronin (0-5), Niall McCarthy (0-1), David Spillane (1-2), Cian Murphy (0-3), Cian Tobin (0-1). Subs: Eoin Cronin, Ciaran Spillane, Thomas Cronin, Donagh Fahy, Rian O’Neill

SPA LADIES DONAL CURTIN CUP
The Spa senior ladies turned out on Sunday April 3rd to play Austin Stacks in Tralee in the first round of the Donal Curtin Cup. Playing conditions were ideal, however Spa were beaten 5-9 to 0-4 by a strong Austin Stacks side. Spa led 0-3 to 0-1 after 11 minutes but 3 goals by Stacks in quick succession meant Spa went in at half time 8 points in arrears. 2 quick goals by Stacks at the start of the second half made the result inevitable. The Spa ladies showed great heart and spirit right to the end and never stopped trying despite having limited numbers available on the day.

The Senior Ladies team are out again next Sunday April 10th in the next round versus Dr Crokes.

U13 CO LEAGUE SPA V DR CROKES
We started our first game in division 1 of the county league vs Dr Crokes on Sunday night and were unlucky to lose by a score line of 2-5 v 0-9. The team played with great determination and were unlucky with a few chances especially in the first half in a game where the defence were on top for all of the game. Our next game v John Mitchels is postponed due to the Kerry game. Training continues on Thursday nights.
