CO MINOR LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL
Best of luck to our minor team and management this Monday August 16th in the Co Minor League Division 9 semi-final against Castleisland Desmonds. The game is on in Spa at 7pm.

KERRY LADIES U14
Commiserations to Maggie May O’Donoghue and the Kerry Ladies Under14 team and management on their loss to Cork on Sunday in the Munster U14 A Final.

  

MINOR CO CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW
The Keanes Supervalu 2021 Minor Co Championship Draw took place last week and East Kerry will be in Group 3 with Kenmare District, Glenflesk & St Brendans Board. Group Stage Rd 1 will begin on 18th/19th September with the competition concluding with the Final on 22nd/23rd October.

Each team will play a minimum of 3 games for a total of 6 rounds, with the top 2 teams of each Group qualifying for the knockout stages - 2 of the top 3 teams will be getting byes to the semi finals and the remaining 4 teams play in the quarter finals. Byes are drawn from the top 3 group teams.

Reminder to Clubs that School games are played on Wednesdays and all players are expected to play with their School as per Fixtures

 

U15 EAST REGION LEAGUE
Our young blues welcomed close neighbours Kilcummin to Spa last Wednesday needing to get a result after a hard loss last week to Keel / Listry. The lads got off to a great start getting an early goal and this set the tempo for the night. A combination of hard work and some excellent football from both sides made for highly entertaining game of football. Our boys eventually ran out winners on the night on a score of 4-12 to 1-10. Thanks to Kilcummin for a very sporting game, next for this group is an away game with Killarney Legion next Wednesday.

ALL IRELAND SEMI-FINAL
The All-Ireland semi-final against Tyrone has been re-scheduled to Saturday August 28th, with the winner to meet Mayo in the All Ireland Final on Saturday September 11th. Times TBC

KERRY LADIES
Well done to Niamh Kearney, Cassandra Buckley and the Kerry Ladies team and management who defeated Tipperary on Saturday afternoon to secure their Senior Ladies Championship status for 2022.  

 

2020 INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The outstanding games of the 2020 Intermediate Championship (including Spa v Desmonds) will take place one week after Kerry exit the All Ireland Championship.
