EPS WATER SPONSORS NEW FOOTBALLS FOR OUR U8S

On Saturday morning, our U8s received a new football each from sponsor EPS Water (www.epswater.ie). The U8 coaches were joined by Spa and Kerry players Dara Moynihan and Liam Kearney to hand out the footballs at this week’s Academy. Our thanks to Paul Cremin and Company Manager John Lynch for their sponsorship. EPS Water is located in Mallow and Mr Lynch is originally from Tralee but now lives in Cork.

AWARDS NIGHT CHEQUE PRESENTATION 

Members of the Spa Awards Night committee made a presentation recently to the Killarney/South Kerry Branch of the Irish Cancer Society. A total of €610 was collected at the raffle at the club Awards Night in February. Andrew Garnett and Adrian O’Sullivan met with charity representatives Kathrina Breen and Eleanor O Doherty who were on hand to collect the cheque. This is a very worthy charity and it was their second donation from Spa, as Elaine Moynihan organised a Coffee Morning at the clubhouse last October.

JUVENILE TRAINING IS BACK

The Academy ABC/U6, U8 & U10 groups start at 10am every Saturday morning and new members very welcome to come along and join in any week. The full list of training times is as follows:
ABC/U6 boys and girls: Saturdays 10:00am
U8 boys: Saturdays 10:00am
U8 -U10 girls: Saturdays 10:00am
U10 boys: Sundays 11:00am & Thursdays 6:30pm
U12 boys: Sundays 6:00pm & Thursdays 7:30pm
U12 girls: Wednesdays 5.30pm
U14 boys: Mondays 7:30 & Fridays 7:30pm
U14 girls: Wednesdays 7pm

Every Saturday the Academy welcomes BOYS & GIRLS from ages 3 to 10 in the ABC, U6, U8 and U10 groups. New members are always welcome! If you would like any additional information or for any queries, please contact our Coiste na nOg Secretary Andrew on 087 138 5612.

SHARE THE POT

Congratulations to Gina Corkery who was last Friday’s winner of the Share the Pot draw, with €500 to be split between the club & winner. Next draw takes place on July 24th and tickets available online on spagaa.com or through club officers.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our Spa GAA Share The Pot draw. **The usual Spa Lotto remains suspended for the foreseeable future and the expiry dates of annual tickets and online tickets will be extended to compensate for weeks when Lotto is not held.

KERRY CO CLEAN UP

The KWD Kerry County Clean Up that was rescheduled to July 25th has now been cancelled. In the interest of health and safety, it has been decided to not go ahead with this year’s event. Thank you to everyone who had volunteered.
