CO CLEAN UP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ON SATURDAY MAY 22ND 
Spa GAA Club are taking part in the annual County Clean Up in two locations within the community.

*The Clean Up is to be done in small groups or family groups only in compliance with Covid restrictions* Volunteers needed for next Saturday May 22nd:

• 1 - Lissivigeen & surrounds (meet at the school at 11.15am)

• 2 - Spa & surrounds (meet at the clubhouse at 11.15am)

Vests & Bags will be provided, and volunteers asked to bring gloves and pickers (anyone with spare pickers we can borrow please drop them to the club before Saturday morning).

The litter picking on the local roads is for the whole community, so please spread the word, everyone welcome. Any queries contact 0851216359 or ️0872130973. 

 

NATIONAL LEAGUES 
Kerry opened their National League with a big win over Galway on Saturday while the Kerry hurlers were defeated by Offaly on Sunday in Rd2 of the Hurling Leagues. Next Sunday May 23rd there are three Kerry teams in action on Sunday – at 1pm the Kerry hurlers are home to Meath in Rd3 of the Hurling League, at 1.45pm the Kerry footballers meet Dublin in Thurles in Rd2 of the Football Leagues and at 3pm the Kerry Ladies begin their league campaign away to Meath. 2021 MINOR & U20 FIXTURES 
The 2021 Munster Minor and Under 20 Championship Draws took place last Thursday evening. Dates, Times and Venues will be confirmed by Munster CCC on Tuesday May 18th. 

In the 2021 U20 Championship Kerry will meet Cork in the Munster semi-finals, while in the 2021 Minor Championship Kerry will play the winner of Cork/Waterford in the Munster semi-finals.

(For the deferred 2020 Minor All Ireland semi-final, our Kerry minors will play Roscommon on July 10th/11th with the All Ireland Minor Football Final taking place the following week.)

 

DATES CONFIRMED FOR 2021 MUNSTER FOOTBALL & HURLING CHAMPIONSHIPS 
The Munster CCC have confirmed the dates, times and venues for the 2021 Munster Senior Hurling and Football Championships. 

The Munster Senior Football Championship Quarter-Finals will take place on Saturday June 26th with Limerick hosting Waterford at 3pm while Clare travel to Killarney to play Kerry at 7pm. The Munster Senior Football Semi-Finals will take place on Saturday July 10th with Cork meeting the winners of Limerick and Waterford at 3pm while the defending Munster Football champions Tipperary await the winners of Kerry and Clare at 7pm. 

The Munster Senior Hurling Championship will get underway on Sunday June 27th with Waterford taking on Clare at 3:15pm in Semple Stadium Thurles. The winners will play Tipperary a week later on Sunday July 4th while the previous evening (July 3rd), defending Munster and All-Ireland Champions Limerick will play Cork at 7pm in Semple Stadium Thurles.
