U-14s match report 💙💛

Spa U14 girls travelled to Dr.Crokes on Sunday 3rd for Round 4 of the NCP League.

There was a strong wind and Spa won the toss so played with the wind in the first half which helped them to immediately open a strong lead. Our forwards were fed great ball by our strong midfield and we finished the first half ahead with a score of 1-07 to 0-01.

The second half was a very different affair with Dr. Crokes now with the wind and after making very clever tactical changes they started to close the gap on the scoreboard. Crokes played very good football and scored some lovely scores but Spa dug deep and showed amazing guts and determination to hang on to the lead. Our backs worked very hard to limit the damage of the Crokes comeback.It was an incredible display of football and strong, hard teamwork from Spa. Spa came away deserving winners with a score line of 1-08 to 1-05 to Spa
