Spa 3-7 John Mitchell’s 2-14. Spa Minors played John Mitchell’s in a very entertaining game at home today. The boys in blue were missing a couple of regulars but inspired by Niall McCarthy in midfield turned in a great team performance in racing into a two point lead at half time. Playing against a strong breeze in the second half Spa played well before losing this tight contest at the end when Mitchell’s scored a late goal.
