In 2011 Spa held the club’s first School Blitz. This became an annual event for a few years organised by the club’s School Officer - John O’Donoghue (2011, 2012 and 2013) and James Devane (2014 and 2015).

This was aimed for 3rd class students from local primary schools. It was non-competitive but gave a chance to play football with other children from various schools. Each student received a certificate of completion and a goody bag at the end of their fun day out.
