Huge work went into organising Spooky Halloween Party by Gadge, Shelly, Ann Marie , Pa, Anne Holland, Grace and Paul. Great effort with the costumes. They were brilliant and really added to the occasion. From Friar Paul Tuck at the entrance, to the Falvey sisters, Margaret and Halloween Queen Anne Holland in reception. To our brilliant face painters and Tattoo artists Sam, Ciara, Philippa, Trish, Laura and Niamh. Ye even roped in a few more helpers which was great. Our excellent game attendants Liadh, Noreen, Grace and Ann Marie. There are some lovely photos of the kids enjoying the Colouring in which was brilliant prepared and ran by Eva and Teresa.

The Scavanger hunt that the kids absolutely loved by Shelly. DJ and Games from David and Angela, it was some going and ye managed to wear the kids out. Outstanding.

We had lovely party bags and prizes organised and distributed by Ann Marie, and all the young Hickeys+Falveys, Paul, Grace, Shelly and Margaret .

Thanks so much to Ms T Rex herself Mairead who came all the way from Cork to judge the Fancy Dress. To Teresa and Jessica for judging the colouring in which wasn’t easy. To Trish and Alice for the Pumpkin carving judging where there was a really good winner. To Tim and Oliver for helping on the tidy up and also the young lads who also helped out. Finally Pa and Liam who lead by example at all Coiste na nog events and do so much for the club.

I always feel that through volunteering you get a great sense of involvement and community. And that you get more out than you put in.
