Spa 3-11 Glenflesk 4-9

This was another exciting encounter in the U11 category between Spa and Glenflesk. All the ingredients were there for a very close game and all to play for the win, down to the last kick. 

Spa started very strong going 2-03 to 0-2 points up after ten minutes. Both teams exchanged a few more scores bringing it to Spa 2-06 to Glenflesk 1-04 at half time.

The second half Glenflesk started the strongest bringing the game to level. Both teams took a 1 point lead on many occasions but in the end Glenflesk came away with a 1 point win.
Well done to all the players in both teams in providing a great game of football.

Our second team travelled to Fossa on the same night and played out another thrilling game, both teams showed great skill and determination, however, Fossa came out winners in the end.
Well done to everyone involved.

We are home again next Wednesday night at 7pm to Gneeveguilla.
