Spa 5-13 Rathmore 5-11

Last night we travelled to Rathmore to play our first game in the East Kerry U11 league.

Rathmore started the first half very strong, going 5 points up after 15 minutes, but our boys never gave up and went in at half time just 1 point down.

In the second half Spa put on an outstanding performance, kicking some fine scores. Rathmore never gave up and even though Spa went up 5 points, Rathmore bought it back to level again with 10 minutes to go.

However, Spa gave it everything in the last few minutes and came out deserving winners on a scoreline of Spa 5-13 Rathmore 5-11.
