U16 Co League begins next Monday July 20th. Spa are in Group H and the the fixtures are as follows:

Monday July 20th at 7pm
Spa v Gneeveguilla (in Spa)

Monday July 27th at 7pm
Spa v Currow (in Currow)

Monday August 3rd at 7pm
Spa v Cordal/Scart (in Spa)

Fixtures will be updated regularly on the website calendar so please check for any changes to games.

• U16 Co Football League is played to the Full Rules and Full Pitch as per the current GAA Official Guide

• The Advance Mark and Sin Bin rules will apply to U16 competitions

• The five-goal rule does not apply to the U16 competitions

• Unlimited subs are allowed for all U16 Co League games

• If a team has an issue about the eligibility of an opposing player, the Mentor should ask the Referee to (a) take the player’s name (b) get the player’s signature and date of birth.

• Any team for both football and hurling wishing to change the time of a fixture must go through the following six steps within the above deadlines

  • Seek permission from the co-ordinator

  • Agree change with opposition team

  • Agree new time with opposition team

  • Email to Co-Ordinator, Secretary and PRO

  • Notify the Referee

  • Re-arrange appointment of Referee for new fixture
