Kerry Co Board have confirmed the following dates for the upcoming Co Minor Leagues (semi-finals and final) and 2021 Co Minor Championship

Minor Football Leagues

• Semi-Finals on 16th August (Div9 semi-final Spa v Desmonds at 7pm in Spa)

• Final on 23rd August

County Minor Football championship

The Keanes SuperValu Minor County Championship Draws (Hurling & Football) will take place TONIGHT Thursday August 12th at 8pm on the Kerry GAA 'Waterbreak' show

The teams in the draw are:

• East Kerry

• Dr. Crokes

• Mid Kerry

• Austin Stacks

• South Kerry

• Laune Rangers

• Kenmare District

• Glenflesk

• West Kerry

• St. Brendans

• St. Kierans

• North Kerry Board

Group Stage Rd 1 will begin on 18th/19th September with the competition concluding with the Final on 22nd/23rd October.

There are 12 teams in the 2021 Minor Championship and they are divided into three groups of 4 teams - A, B, C & D. Each team will play a minimum of 3 games for a total of 6 rounds.

Format:

Top 2 teams of each Group qualify for Knockout stage -

2 of the top 3 teams will be getting byes to the semi finals and the remaining 4 teams play in the quarter finals. Byes are drawn from the top 3 group teams.

From Quarter Finals on it will be Winner On The Day

• Rd1: A v B, C v D, Sat. 18th Sept.

• Rd2: B v C, D v A, Sat. 25th Sept.

• Rd3: A v C, B v D Sat. 2nd Oct.

• Qtr. Final: 4 teams/2 games - Sat. 9th Oct.

• Semi Finals: Sat. 16th Oct.

• Final: Sat/Sun 23rd/24th Oct.

Finally - Reminder to Clubs that School games are played on Wednesdays and all players are expected to play with their School as per Fixtures
