Spa 1-10 Killarney Legion 2-6

In our second league game of the season and after an extremely difficult opener away to Austin Stacks our under 15’s welcomed our neighbours Killarney Legion to spa tonight and in very wet and windy conditions our boys came out on top by the smallest of margins. The weather made this game, a game of two halves, spa had the wind in the first half and went in 0-8 to 0-1 at the break. Legion tagged on some early scores in the second half to reduce the deficit however our boys scored a quick 1-2 to stretch out our lead. To their credit Legion had a late flurry and scored 2-1 in the last 5 minutes to make a nervy end to the game. Great credit to both sets of players for a very exciting game in really tough conditions.
