The season started with our U21s reaching an U21 Div 2B final against Legion. Unfortunately we didnt win but fair play to the players and management for competing in such terrible conditions on surfaces and weather. A positive factor is we compete with a full squad. Well don to Tom Tobin and Kevin Healy as management and all the players. Our Seniors started their season in the East Kerry League and registering their first win of the season against Gneeveguilla. The future looks bright and lets see more of those results. Minors were held up due to the Sem advancing to the Munster Semi final but lost to Corca Dhuibhne. We had none other than 10 Spa players ion the panel of Liam Kearney, Shane Cronin, Evan Cronin, Ciaran Spillane, kevin O Sullivan, mMichael McCarthy, Adyan Mulvaney, Aidan Shepherd, Corey Doyle and Mike Foley. U16s will start their campaign on March 15th at home to Kilgarvan/Tuoist. Ladies Football: Senior ladies are training and just awaiting the fixtures. Cassandra Buckley conotinues to play with the Kerry ladies and hopefully will go one step closer to the Brendan martin cup. Our underage continue to train indoors and we are using our fantastic facilities on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
