Our U14 A team started their Division 4b County League campaign tonight in a windy Spa against Ballyduff. Playing against a strong wind in the first half our backs set the tone for the game by only conceding 1-4. Up front our forwards were working hard to move the ball within shooting distance against that strong wind to leave the scoreline of 4-3 to 1-4 at the break. At the start of the second half, Ballyduff came at us and opened the scoring with the first 3 points. Our boys didn't panic and again took control of the game and aided with the breeze, we kicked some beautiful points, leaving the final score Spa 5-14 Ballyduff 2-7. This Thursday our B Team are at home to Glenbeigh Glencar/cromane at 6.30.
