Returning on Saturday 7th March 2026, Our academy is open to boys and girls from 3+ years and focuses on developing fundamental movement skills through fun, games‑based activities in a safe, supportive environment. Whether your child is picking up a ball for the first time or already loves being active, Spa GAA Academy is all about enjoyment, confidence and inclusion.

What the Academy Is All About
At Spa GAA Academy, we believe that a child’s first experience of sport should be positive, fun and pressure‑free. Our sessions are designed to:
Develop basic movement and coordination skills
Encourage teamwork, confidence and social interaction
Introduce Gaelic Games in a playful, age‑appropriate way
Create a love of sport that can last a lifetime
We proudly offer free membership for U5s and U6s, making it even easier for families to get involved.
A Club for the Whole Family
Spa GAA is a friendly, inclusive club where every child is welcomed and valued, regardless of ability or previous experience. We are open to all children living in Killarney, and our academy is often the first step into our wider club community.
While the children train, parents and guardians can relax and enjoy a coffee from The Coffee Dock, our on‑site coffee shop, making academy mornings as enjoyable for adults as they are for kids.
And don’t be surprised if you’re greeted by Spark, our much‑loved club mascot, who is always on hand to add to the fun and excitement on academy days!
