Our Spa ladies played Laune Rangers in the 3rd round of the Credit Union Donal Curtin Cup Division 3 today in Killorglin.
Spa were missing a couple of key players but fought well and were very unlucky with a good few close wides and missed some goal chances. Katie O’Brien picking up an injury in the first half was also a blow to Spa. The final score line of 3-12 to 1-05 to Rangers was not a true reflection on how well Spa played as they battled hard and if they had taken their scoring opportunities the end result would have been a lot closer.
