Spa U11 boys took part in the Tommy Kelliher memorial tournament in Rathmore on Saturday. It was fantastic to have 25 boys eager to play on the day. We started off with a draw against Gneeveguilla followed by another draw against Kilcummin. A defeat to Listry in our final group game meant we finished 3rd in the group and set up a meeting with Crokes in the Shield Final. In what was a fantastic feast of free flowing football, it took two periods of extra time to separate the teams with Crokes winning by a single point. Well done to all the boys who played a huge part in what was a very successful, fun filled day out for the boys 💙💛 Thanks to all the parents and families who travelled to Rathmore on Saturday to cheer on the boys.
