Spa enjoyed further success at the Senior Scór County Final, held on Saturday night in Dúchas, MTU, with an excellent result in the Rince Foirne competition.

Competing in Figure Dancing, the Spa team delivered a composed and well-executed performance to secure first place and progress to the next stage of the competition. The team was made up of Aoibhe O Donoghue, Ellen Carroll, Ailbhe Gallagher, Aislinn O Donovan, Anne Marie Nelligan, Kate Lawlor, Sarah Randles and Erin Holland, all of whom represented the club with distinction on the night. It marks a significant return to this discipline for the club, with the last Senior Rince Foirne campaign culminating in All-Ireland success in 2016.

The standard on the night was high across all competitions, and Spa was also represented in the Recitation by Alison Fitzmartin. Alison performed with great confidence and clarity in a particularly strong section. While she did not advance on this occasion, her performance was a credit to herself and to the club.
