Spa Academy returned today in fantastic style, with great numbers of young players back on the pitch and plenty of new faces joining the fun. From the moment the session began, there was a brilliant atmosphere around the grounds – lots of energy, plenty of smiles, and a great sense of excitement as the season got underway.

Players aged 3 to 12 years old took part in a morning packed with football, skills and games, with our dedicated coaches and volunteers bringing great enthusiasm to every group. It was wonderful to see so many children enjoying themselves, learning new skills and getting stuck into the action.

Our loveable mascot Spark was also on hand throughout the morning, handing out plenty of high fives and stamps, and adding to the buzz around the place.

Off the pitch, the coffee dock was flowing and the club shop was thriving, with plenty of parents and supporters enjoying the chance to catch up while the young players got to work.

There was also a very special surprise to finish the session. Thanks to our Killarney Club 7s Committee, every child who attended today’s Academy received a brand new football to take home – giving them the chance to keep practising their skills and continue the fun away from the pitch.
