Congratulations to our Spa players and their teammates representing St Brendan’s College who today captured the Taft Cup Munster U15 A Schools Final, defeating St Flannan’s College, Ennis on a scoreline of 2-16 to 2-07.

Spa were very well represented on the victorious side with Eoin Brosnan (team captain), Sam O’Shea, Aidan Hickey, Torin Lyne, Jack Gleeson and Jack O’Leary all involved on the panel. It is a fantastic achievement for the players and their school, and a proud moment for everyone in Spa GAA to see so many of our young players contributing to such a significant Munster success.

Having Spa representatives involved on a Munster winning panel is a great source of pride for the club and a real testament to the work being done at underage level. It is also a proud moment for the many coaches who have worked with these players over the years, helping to develop their skills and love of the game.

The success is another clear indication of the importance and impact of Spa GAA’s academy and underage structures in recent years, providing young players with the opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy Gaelic football from an early age.

Well done again to Eoin, Sam, Aidan, Torin, Jack and Jack, and to all involved with St Brendan’s College on a fantastic Munster title. Spa GAA are extremely proud of your achievements.
