Spa’s Boys U16s were in action last Thursday night as they took on Firies, facing a challenging contest but showing plenty of resilience throughout.

Firies made the brighter start, racing into an early lead. Spa responded well, with a fine point from Liam Moynihan helping to settle their play.

While Spa were unable to turn the game in their favour, they showed great determination throughout the second half, continuing to battle and build momentum. Their efforts were rewarded late on with an excellent score from Adam Moynihan to close out the game.

Despite the early setback, Spa’s performance was full of spirit and promise, offering plenty of encouragement for the year ahead.
