Spa U15s made the trip to Rathmore for the annual Féile competition and adapted quickly to the shortened format. They got off to a strong start in their opening game, defeating Legion 2-7 to 1-2.

Playing with the wind in the first half, Spa raced into an early lead, putting 2-6 on the scoreboard within the first ten minutes. Goals from Aidan Hickey and Eric Corcoran set the tone for a dominant performance.

The second game against Fossa proved much tighter. Facing into the wind in the first half, Spa showed excellent defensive resilience to lead 2-1 at the break. A standout moment came from Jack Gleeson, who produced three remarkable goal-line blocks in quick succession.

The game opened up in the second half, but Spa held firm to secure a three-point victory, 5-2, with Eric Corcoran again impressing with his accuracy up front.

Spa were anchored throughout by superb central performances from Eoin Brosnan, Jack Gleeson, Maks Wesolowski, Sam O’Shea, and Aidan Hickey.

Spa now progress to the county finals.
