Spa U10s vs Legion U10s – Match Report

The Spa U10 boys produced another strong performance last Wednesday evening when they hosted Legion for a set of go games.

Both teams put on a great showing, with high energy and plenty of skilful play on display from start to finish. The turnout was excellent, and the sideline was full of proud parents and coaches enjoying the action.
Legion brought a competitive and spirited group who challenged Spa throughout with strong tackling, good movement, and some excellent passages of play. Their boys competed hard but always in the right spirit, contributing to some really enjoyable games.
What stood out most for Spa was the involvement of some of the younger players, who really stepped up and got stuck in with confidence. It was fantastic to see them winning balls, making tackles, and linking up with their teammates. Across the squad there was clear improvement in decision-making, bravery on the ball, and overall teamwork. The coaches were delighted with the progress the boys are making week by week.
Every player gave their all, showed great attitude, and supported one another throughout the evening. The sportsmanship between both teams was excellent, making it a very positive night of underage Gaelic football.
A big thank you to Legion for the fixture and for bringing such a sporting and well-prepared team. Fair play to all their players and mentors.
To the Spa U10 boys — everyone involved is very proud of your efforts and the way you represented the club. Keep showing that same commitment at training and continue building on this improvement.
