The Spa U10 boys travelled to Beaufort last Wednesday evening for a set of go games and delivered a determined performance on the road.
Despite the away fixture, the squad showed up in good numbers and brought plenty of energy to the pitch. The Beaufort boys provided strong opposition in front of their home supporters, creating a competitive and enjoyable evening for everyone involved.
Spa’s standout feature on the night was the outstanding effort shown right across the panel. Every single boy worked hard, chased every ball, and made a real contribution. It was particularly pleasing to see all the players getting on the ball regularly — winning possessions, carrying forward with purpose, and linking up with teammates. The commitment and willingness to get stuck in never wavered, even as the game flowed back and forth.
The coaches were delighted with the application and attitude displayed by the full group. The boys never stopped trying, supported one another constantly, and showed real character throughout the away trip.
A big thank you to Beaufort for hosting and for the positive, sporting way they approached the games. Their players and mentors made the evening a good experience for all.
Well done to the entire Spa U10 squad — your effort and involvement on the ball last Wednesday was excellent. You represented the club with real pride and showed exactly what can be achieved when everyone gives their all.
