Spa GAA was delighted to host the Movember Ahead of the Game mental health programme on Tuesday, September 8th, for our U16 boys, along with their parents and coaches.
The session was facilitated by Martin Stackpoole and Laura Linnane and focused on supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing, building resilience and encouraging open conversations around mental health and seeking support when needed.
There was a great turnout on the night, with players, parents and coaches all engaging in what was a very worthwhile and informative session.
A big thank you to the Spa GAA Health & Wellbeing Committee, our U16 players and coaches, and all of the parents who took the time to attend and support the initiative.
