Spa U12 girls travelled to Macroom yesterday evening for a game of football against the Cork girls, providing a great opportunity to test their skills against strong opposition.
Spa had 13 girls available on the evening, playing one game of 25 minutes each way. The opposition provided a tough challenge in what was a fast-paced, free-flowing game, with both sides showcasing some fantastic football throughout.
Every girl got stuck into the action, with great determination and team spirit on display. It was fantastic to see the effort and commitment shown in every tackle, pass and run.
The girls were rewarded after the game with a very generous presentation of ice creams, kindly sponsored by Danone, Macroom. Spa GAA would like to extend our sincere thanks to Danone for this lovely gesture.
A big thank you also to Macroom for facilitating and hosting such a sporting and enjoyable game, and to all the parents and supporters for their continued support.
