The Spa U8 boys had a slightly different end-of-season team activity as the group took on Torc Mountain on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
The adventure started with ice cream courtesy of Muckross Creamery before the boys took on the challenge of the climb. It was a fantastic team-building trip, with the boys a credit to themselves in the way they behaved and embraced the challenge.
A big thanks to all the coaches for their efforts throughout the season and for taking on the difficult task of keeping up with the boys on the mountain!
As an additional surprise, all of the boys were gifted brand new mouthguards, which will be especially important as they progress through the age groups and continue their development with Spa.
Well done to everyone involved. Days like this are a great reminder of the benefits of team sport and the strong sense of community that exists within Spa GAA.
