Our U15’s made the tough trip to Ardfert Wednesday evening for a very entertaining encounter with two strong teams.

Spa started the brighter with an early goal which saw a sweeping move finished to the Ardfert net inside 5 minutes.

Both sides exchanged blows for the remainder of the half, which saw spa concede a penalty during this period. A further goal was also added for our young blues which saw us lead at half time. 2-5 to 1-4.

The second half began with our lads playing against a strong breeze and a super move saw ball once again bulge the Ardfert net. To their credit the hosts rallied well and eventually hauled the scoreline level with 10 minutes to go.

Our boys however have superb resolve and went again and some great point scoring and two fantastic goals put the lads in the driving seat once again. Ardfert added their second penalty of the evening with the last kick of the game leaving the final score Ardfert 3:10 Spa 5:08.
