There was a 600 Club Draw fundraising event at the Spa clubhouse in September 2009. On the night of the draw, the Spa Ladies Committee were asked to step up and draw out the winning tickets along with the 2009 Lily of Killarney Juliette Murphy.
It was a great social event for everyone in the community with special entertainment on the night from the Spa dancers who had competed in Fleadh Cheoil during the summer.
