Round 2

Our U13’s welcomed Cordal to Spa this evening and both teams served up a cracking game of football. Spa started the brighter with a goal in the opening minute, however cordal answered back with some fine scores of their own, however the first half belonged to Spa and pressed home their advantage and lead at half time 2-6 to 1-4 .

The second half started just as the first half finished with some super scores from both sides, however the decisive score of the game came mid way through the second half when Spa hit their 3rd goal…. Some more super football was played by both side with Spa edging out their opponents on a score line of 3-10 to 1-12.

All 21 players in squad played their part, thanks to Cordal for a very entertaining game and to Eddie Walsh for refereeing the tie.
