Senior Co League: Spa 4-18 Listowel Emmets 2-11
Played in Frank Sheehy Park in Listowel, Spa had the better start with opening scores from Evan Cronin (2), Michael Foley and Shane Cronin. Listowel shortly drew level before Craig Hickey had 1-1 on the board, the goal following on from a long pass in from Dara Moynihan. James Devane had two brilliant saves in goal before Evan Cronin and Michael Foley extended the Spa lead. At half time Spa led 1-7 to 0-7. Shane Cronin pointed on the restart before Listowel slotted home a dubious penalty to make it 1-8 to 1-7 after just 4 minutes. Dara and Craig kicked over two more but they were quickly cancelled out again by Listowel. Spa then hit a purple patch, notching up 3-5 in just 10 minutes, the hat-trick from Evan Cronin and points from Craig Hickey (2), Aydan Mulvaney, Evan Cronin and Shane Cronin, while James Devane had another great block in front of goal. Michael Foley, Dara Moynihan and Liam Kearney points closed out the game.

Spa U-12 Boys
Played their first home games of this year's county league, both teams won with big scores. 5-24 for one team and 5-14 for the other team. We had a few players missing due injury and the Kerry game, so these were fantastic performances. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to both Ian Coffey and Con Stack who are both on the injury list. Good to have Oran O'Neill back with us as he was out injured also. Training again this Wednesday evening 6-7pm.

Spa U-6/U-12 girls: no training the next two Saturdays resume Saturday April 29th.
U-14 Girls
Tuesday April 11th at 6.30pm away to Laune Rangers in Cloone.

2017 Lily of Killarney
Excitement is building as one of the highlights of Killarney’s social calendar is fast approaching. RTE, TV3 and TG4 presenter Sile Seoige will oversee proceedings at the 2017 Lily of Killarney.
The 44th Lily of Killarney will be selected in the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney on Friday, 19th May 2017.

Congratulations to Spa GAA Club President
Fr Tim O'Sullivan who celebrated his 80th birthday with family, friends, parishioners and a delegation of Spa club members, in the Irish Centre in Derby City, last Friday night. Glowing tributes were paid to the affable Fr Tim by various speakers, for his contribution, to the parish of Derby and the other parishes in which he administered. Well known tenor D'Sean O'Shea accompanied by, John White of the Blarney Ceili band, all added to the enjoyment of the occasion.
Killarney Celtic FC
Congratulations to Jamie Spillane on another Man of the Match performance in Mastergeeha. Unfortunately the result wasn't in Celtics favour after a penalty shoot out. Never the less a great game and well done to the team. Special mention to Evan Jones and Jordan Leahy also Spa members on the panel.

Independence For Tiernan
Batty O'Sullivan's grandson, Tiernan 11 years, suffers from Spina Bifida and is a wheel chair user. His room is upstairs and can no longer crawl up and down the stairs. He has been very sick for the past 6 months and has had 5 surgeries in this time. He's sleeping in the sitting room. As you can imagine this is very uncomfortable for Tiernan. His family are raising funds to build a room downstairs. Tickets can be purchased from the family or at the door on the night. €10 adult €5 children. Please support this worthy cause.
