31 Card Drive Fundraiser for Johnny Batt

A 31 Card Drive fundraiser is being organised in aid of the Oncology Department at University Hospital Kerry. The fundraiser is taking place in the Spa GAA Clubhouse, on the 15th of March 2020 at 4:30pm, and there will be refreshments and spot prizes on the evening. €10 per player. All participants are very welcome, and we appreciate your support of this very worthy cause - online donations are open through this link

 

Juvenile Training

Juvenile Training is resuming in Spa and below is the list of dates for the different age levels:

  • ABC / U6 / U8 / U10 (BOYS & GIRLS) will return on Saturday March 7th from 10am - 11am

  • U12 (BOYS) train on Fridays from 7pm - 8pm in the Sports Hall

  • U14 (BOYS) train on Fridays from 6.30pm - 7.45pm and on Mondays from 7.15pm - 8.30pm

  • U16 (BOYS) train on Thursday nights from 7pm - 8pm

  • U14 & U16 (GIRLS) train on Wednesdays from 6pm - 7pm and on Saturdays from 10.30am - 11.30am

U21 East Kerry Championship Spa 2-5 D Crokes 2-13

Played in Lewis Rd on Sunday afternoon, Spa lost out to Crokes and will now go through to compete in the Division 2 Championship. Fixture details TBC.

 

Upcoming Fixtures

Co Minor League Rd1 Spa v St Michael’s Foilmore on Saturday February 15th at 3.30pm (in Spa). EK Senior League Rd2 Spa v Legion on Sunday February 16th at 12noon (in Spa).

 

Spa GAA Club Registration

Registration is now open for 2020 and will remain open until March 31st. Registration is available online on spagaa.com or our registrars will be in Spa on Thursday evenings from 7pm-8pm.

 

Ireland Lights Up Weekly Walks

Everyone welcome to come join us and take part in the Operation Transformation Walks in Spa on Thursday nights – we have a 1km walking track lit up and the grounds will be open to everyone in the community (members and non-members) every Thursday night from 7-8pm for any walkers that want to take part. **Helpers are needed on Thursday nights so if anyone is available please let Michael know (0858213027).

 

Lotto Results 03/02/2020

Numbers drawn: 4, 17, 24, 25. No winner and €50 Lucky Dips going to Kieran Herlihy, Laoise O’Sullivan, T & D Moynihan and Tim Foley. Next draw will take place in McSweeneys and jackpot is now €10,700. Play online on spa.gaa.com or tickets available in usual outlets.

Hard luck to Liam, Dara, Niall and the Kerry team & management against Tyrone. Next game is in Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday February 23rd against Meath.
