U14 Boys Medal Presentation
Our U14 Boys received their East Kerry Division 3 medals at the Torc Hotel last Saturday evening from Dara Moynihan and Evan Cronin, along with their coaches Pat O’Neill, Kieran McCarthy, Des Spillane, Donagh Cronin, Michael Finnegan and David O’Sullivan.
Spa GAA Annual Awards Night
The annual Spa GAA Club Awards Night will take place at the Torc Hotel on Saturday February 1st 2020. This is a sell-out event each year so people are advised to get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Know Your Sport
Well done to sporting gurus Shane Costelloe and Ciarán Favier who emerged victorious in the 2019 edition of our Know Your Sport competition. Shane from Limerick and Ciarán from Glenflesk beat off all the other entrants to share our top prize of €1000. Forms for the 2020 edition are out now and if you fancy yourself as a sporting expert, contact John O’Donoghue (0879403517) or club officers and you could be receiving a cheque for €1000 next year. For an entry fee of €20 you will get 12 months of sporting enjoyment- It couldn't be simpler, predict who will win in 30 different sports events in 2020. The person with the most correct predictions wins!
Spa GAA Club Registration
Registration is now open for 2020 and will remain open until March 31st. Registration is available online through spagaa.com or our registrars will be in Spa on Thursday evenings from 7pm-8pm. All players, officers, coaches etc MUST be registered club members to take part in club activities in 2020.
East Kerry All Stars Awards Night
East Kerry All Stars Awards Night will take place on Friday January 17th at the Brehon Hotel. Tickets are available from Club Treasurer Margaruite (0877714516). Senior players Evan Cronin and Liam Kearney are among the shortlist of nominees for the 2019 East Kerry All Star team.
Healthy Club
Spa GAA Club have signed up to take part in Phase 4 of the Croke Park GAA Healthy Club initiative. A number of events will be taking part over the next 18 months.

Ireland Lights Up Weekly Walks
Well done to all walkers that braved the bad weather last Thursday for the first night of the Ireland Lights Up walks in Spa. The club grounds will be lit up every Thursday night from 7-8pm for any walkers from the local community (members & non-members) that want to take part in the Operation Transformation Ireland Lights Up walks.
