Table Quiz The club is hosting a table quiz in the Torc Hotel on Friday April 24th at 8pm .Tables of 4: Adults €40 and Juveniles €20. We are expecting a large attendance. Contact John O'Donoghue 087 9403517.

Upcoming Fixtures

U-10 & U-8 at home to legion on Wednesday 6.30pm (Challenge game). U-12 boys at home to Ardfert next Sunday at 6pm (County League). U-14s are playing Dingle away on Wednesday evening at 7.15pm (County League).

Ladies Football

U-12 Girls Our next game is next Tuesday at 6.45pm at home to Dr. Crokes U-14 Girls Training continues every Wednesday 6.30. U-16 Girls We play our second game next Thurs night at home to Moyvane at 7pm. Senior Ladies Have qualified for the B Final against Currow in Spa. Date and Time TBC. Welcome Tom Doherty as the new Senior Ladies Manager.

Round 1 Intermediate Championship 18th April 2015

Spa 1-12 Annascual 1-10 Venue: Spa Michael O'Donoghue opened up the Championship scoreline with a well taken point within the first 30 seconds of play. Andrew Garnett had a great outing on the day and followed shortly with another point. Annascaul midfielder registered their first score. Stam followed with two more unanswered scores. Young Evan Cronin scored his first point of the day. Another two points by Andrew Garnett swapped scores with the West Kerry's full forward line. Rounding out the first half scores was Shane Cronin and Liam Kearney. Half time Spa 0-9 Annascaul 0-6. Second half was definitely owned by Annascaul for the for first 16 minutes. They scored a goal within the first few seconds of the second half. Another 3 points followed unanswered by Spa tried to until the 16th minute when the accurate Evan Cronin scored Spa’s only goal after receiving a great pass from Shane Lynch. Our side found their momentum yet again and Craig Hickey, Stam (free) registered scores. Stam was unlucky hitting the crossbar and deflected into the Annascual defence. Evan Cronin scored the last point of the day after a great game. James Devane pulled off a great save. The backs were solid with sterling performances by the half back line of Shane Lynch, Dan O'Donoghue and Shane Cronin. Andrew Garnett and Liam Kearney played with heart and were very influential throughout the entire game. Up Front the aforementioned Evan Cronin, Craig Hickey, Michael O'Donoghue all did Spa proud on the day. Junior East Kerry League

Spa 2-10 Gneeveguilla 2-13 A great game that came down to the final minutes but Gneeveguilla were victorious on the day. Alfie Giles and Conor Gleeson were outstanding. Next fixture is away to Legion Tuesday 21st at 7pm.

Minor Co League Division 1

Spa 3-12 Kerins O'Rahillys 1-8 A brilliant display of football on a beautiful evening last Friday night in Spa. This was definitely a game that all players played their part. Spa were in control from the start when Dara Moynihan opened up the score board. David Carroll pulled off three superb saves that kept Spa on top throughout the entire match. Michael Foley was on target scoring and was a close contender for man of the match along with Dara Moynihan, Evan Cronin and Eoin Cronin. Fionan Walsh was a constant threat to the Tralee side as he set up many scores and played an attacking half back. The entire back line played solid defensively. Mike McCarthy and Ciaran Spillane lorded midfield. Speedy recovery to Ciaran injured on the night. The forwards were running constantly through Kerins O'Rahillys defence and never overplayed the pass or movement.Team: David Carroll, Eoin Cronin, Eric O'Donoghue, David Moynihan, Fionan Walsh (0-1), Aidan Fleming, Mikey Moynihan (0-1) Ciaran Spillane, Mike McCarthy (0-1), Dion Marcus, Dara Moynihan (0-3), David Spillane, Mike Foley (2-4), Evan Cronin (1-1), Fergal O'Donoghue (0-1) Subs: Eamon Lavin, Mike Shannon, Michael Kearney, Eoin Fitzgerald, John McKenna, Ciaran Sheehan, Stephen Kelliher and Aidan Kelly.

Minor Championship

Kerry 0-14 Clare 0-3 Congrats to the minor team and especially to our own Michael Foley and Evan Cronin on scoring a point each.

Lotto

Numbers 8.7.3.22. Jackpot not won in the Heights . Lucky dips were Rita McKenna, Mill Rd, Dr. Gary Stack, Batty O'Sullivan, TJ and Ivor Flynn. Jackpot  €6.800  in the Killarney Oaks Hotel next week. Lily of Killarney

The Ladies Committee will host our Annual Social Event on Friday May 22nd in the Gleneagle. Follow this event on Lily Of Killarney Facebook Page. More details to follow in the upcoming weeks. Further information contact Sheila Curtin 086 4089506.

This day promises to be a great fun social event once again. More details to follow in the coming weeks from the Social Committee. Ceol agus craic and the BBQ will be a guarantee on the day.

Mayor of Killarney

Cllr John Joe Culloty has kindly donated all his allocation of €3,800 towards the cost of the crash barrier at the Spa Field. This was greatly appreciated at the monthly Executive meeting as its a danger and risk and will be erected in the not too distant future. The Mayor, John Joe and his wife Mary are holding the Annual Mayor's Ball on Sun May 3rd at the Malton. Tickets €50 and can be purchased from the hotel only. All Proceeds will go to the Cancer Society and Killarney/South Kerry Branch.
