The ABCs, U6s and U8s will start back on February the 2nd, at 10:00. The first day will be registration, and meeting with the coaches for 2019. This will be a chance to get together before the season starts - to meet the other children and parents, and there'll even be time for a cup of tea!

ABCs and U6s are free.

Club Awards Night

The annual Spa GAA Club awards night will take place at the Torc Hotel on Saturday, February the 2nd. Special guests will be the All-Ireland winning Scór na nÓg set dancers, the All-Ireland winning Kerry Junior players, and the U16 winning team of 1968.

Please note: All tickets have been sold. Please don't contact us to buy them - they're all gone!

Ian O'Connell

Congratulations to Ian O'Connell, who received the Overall Award at the Lee Strand / Kerry Garda Division Youth Achievement Awards at the Ballyroe Hotel last Friday night. These awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of young people across the country, and the great contributions they make to the local community.

Scór Municipal Awards

Spa dancers attented the annual awards night for the county and municipal districts on Thursday, January the 24th, in the Rose Hotel, Tralee. They were nominated by Cllr. Michael Gleeson to receive an award in recognition of their achievement as Scór na nÓg All-Ireland champions for a second consecutive year.

The award was presented to the club's Scór officer (Eileen Aherne) by Cllr. Niall Kelleher, and the dancers entertained the guests on the night by performing at the interval. It is a privilege to be included in these awards, and we'd like to thank Cllr. Gleeson for the nomination.

Scór 50 Bliain

Last weekend, Spa were honored to be one of the clubs invited to Pairc Ui Chaoimh for a special concert, to celebrate 50 years of Scór. The jubilee event, which was organised by the GAA, welcomed past winners to the celebratory concert - and the Spa senior set dancers were one of the groups with a special invitation to perform on the night.
