2021 SPA GAA CLUB AGM
As a mark of respect on the passing of former club chairman John O'Sullivan RIP, the 2021 Spa AGM has been postponed until next week, Tuesday January 4th 2022 at 7.30pm. The meeting will take place ONLINE through Microsoft Teams and the link for the meeting will be sent to members shortly.

We are always very grateful to the volunteers that help in the running of the club so if anyone would like to help out or would like to take up an officer position with the club please get in touch.

SYMPATHIES
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of John O’Sullivan RIP, Upper Ballycasheen. John was a former Chairman of the club. Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5.30pm - 6.30pm followed by Removal to St Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 10.30am, burial afterwards in Aghadoe Lawn Cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/killarneycathedral

The Club will do a GUARD OF HONOUR on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning and members attending are asked to please wear club colours.

Our condolences also to the family and friends of Fr Kevin McNamara RIP, Co. Clare.

In the Munster Football Championship, Kerry and Cork will meet in the 2022 Munster semi-final on Saturday May 7th 2022.

Munster GAA have also released their fixtures for 2022 and full details are available on munstergaa.ie. Jack O’Connor’s Kerry team will have their first outing with the McGrath Cup next week (Group 2) –

Rd2 Kerry v Tipperary on Wednesday January 12th at 7pm in Dr Morris Park, Thurles

In the Munster Club Championships, Kerry have 3 teams in the 2021 Munster Club Championship Finals.

Senior - Austin Stacks v St. Finbarr’s (Cork) on Sunday January 16th (venue/time TBC)
Intermediate - Na Gaeil v Corofin (Clare) on January 15th / 16th (venue/time TBC)
Junior - Gneeveguilla v Ballina (Tipperary) on January 15th / 16th (venue/time TBC)

WIN A HOUSE WITH KERRY GAA
For the month of December, the Kerry GAA ‘Win a House’ fundraising committee have teamed up with Down Syndrome Kerry and €5 from all tickets purchased for the draw this month will go to Down Syndrome Kerry. Tickets are on sale from the club (contact any of our club officers or Co Board officer John O’Leary), from the Co. Board office in Tralee or at the Kerry GAA Store in the Killarney Outlet Centre.

When entering your details don’t forget to mention your club SPA GAA in the ‘Additional Information’ section as your club could also win up to €1,500. The sooner you purchase a ticket, the more draws you will be included in.
