EAST KERRY SUPERLEAGUE 
East Kerry Senior League returns this weekend. Spa are in Division 1B and play Rathmore in the first round this Sunday February 6th (12noon in Spa). 

 

SPA LOTTO

MUNSTER MINOR & U20 CHAMPIONSHIPS 
The 2022 Munster GAA Minor & U20 Football and Hurling Championship Draws were made last Thursday evening. Kerry U20s will meet v Clare or Tipperary (away) in the Munster U20 Football Championship semi-final on April 18th.

Meanwhile, the Kerry minors will face Cork on May 12th 2022 (home) in the Munster Minor Football Championship semi-final. Full details and draws on munstergaa.ie  

 

RAY O'SULLIVAN PRESENTS HIS NEW SHOW "WEIGHT WATCHING" 
Killarney Theatre Company proudly presents A New Comedy Play "Weight Watching" by Ray O'Sullivan & directed by Aidan O'Connor. The dates and venues are:

JAMES O'DONOGHUE ANNOUNCES HIS RETIREMENT 
Legion player James O'Donoghue has officially confirmed his retirement from the Kerry senior panel. Congratulations to James on a stellar footballing career in the green & gold.

NATIONAL LEAGUE 
It finished all square in the opening round of the National League in Kildare on Sunday. Well done to Dan O’Donoghue, Dara Moynihan, Arthur Fitzgerald and the team & management. Kerry are home to Dublin in Rd2 this Saturday February 5th at 7pm (Austin Stack Park). The full list of remaining fixtures are as follows:

LONDON GAA 
Congrats to London GAA & former Spa player Matthew Moynihan on their opening round win over Carlow on Saturday night. 

 

ALL IRELAND CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 
Congratulations to Gneeveguilla on their win over Denn of Cavan to go through to the All Ireland Junior Final in Croke Park this Sunday February 6th at 1.30pm against Kilmeena (Mayo). Game will be live on TG4 and best of luck to the team & management.

Commiserations to Na Gaeil who lost out to Derry side Steelstown Brian Ógs in the Intermediate semi-final. 

 

IRELAND LIGHTS UP  
The Ireland Lights Up winter walks continue this Wednesday night between 7-8pm. Please sign in at the reception area before starting your walk. The lights will be turned on along our new walking track (approx 1km loop). Everyone welcome. 

If anyone would be available to help with registration or stewarding any night, all help is greatly appreciated. Any volunteers that can help any evening or any questions please contact Margaret on 087 9181970.

2022 REGISTRATION IS OPEN 
Membership for 2022 is open and can be completed online on spagaa.com (link on right hand side of the site) or the registrars (Gerard Mangan & Sean O’Sullivan) will be in Spa every Wednesday between 7-8pm over the coming weeks.   

 

WIN A HOUSE WITH KERRY GAA  
Before the main draw in April, there will be another bonus draw next Tuesday February 8th so anyone who hasn't got their ticket yet be sure to enter the draw before midnight next Sunday February 6th! Two big prizes up for grabs in this bonus draw – first prize is a Two Night Stay at the Great Southern Hotel and the second prize is €1,000.

When entering your details don’t forget to mention your club SPA GAA in the ‘Additional Information’ section as your club could also win up to €1,500. The sooner you purchase a ticket, the more draws you will be included in.        

 

CORN UÍ MHUIRÍ MUNSTER SEMI-FINALS 
Well done to St Brendan’s Killarney who overcame Hamilton High School Bandon after extra time to make it through to the Corn Uí Mhuire Munster Schools Final. It will be an all-Kerry affair in the Final when they face Tralee CBS on Saturday February 12th. (details TBC).    

GOOD LUCK TO KILMOYLEY 
This Saturday February 5th will be a huge occasion for hurling in Kerry as Kilmoyley play Naas GAA in Croke Park at 5pm in the All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Final. The game is live on TG4 and best of luck to the team & management.
