CLUB PRESIDENT CANON TIM O’SULLIVAN CELEBRATES HIS DIAMOND JUBILEE
Congratulations to our Spa GAA Club President Fr Tim O’Sullivan who celebrated his Diamond Jubilee over the weekend.
Canon Tim was ordained on June 4th 1961 and he marked this special 60 year anniversary at mass at St Mary’s Church, Derby, UK where he has been serving for almost 30 years.

Our congratulations to Fr Tim from all at Spa GAA club and hopefully we will get to welcome him home to celebrate in person very soon.
LEAVING CERT
Best wishes to all students who will be starting their Leaving Cert exams this Wednesday June 9th.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BUSINESS REOPENING
Wishing the best of luck to all business that are re-opening their doors this week. Accommodation providers re-opened last week, and this week sees the return of outdoor dining as well as limited access to gyms, pools etc for individual training. June 7th also sees other changes, such as a return to outdoor sports and up to 100 spectators allowed at games.

LADIES ALL IRELAND FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Kerry Ladies Senior Football Championship Fixtures this summer have been confirmed. The Kerry Ladies are in Group D and their opening fixtures are as follows -
July 10 Kerry Ladies v Galway (away)
July 24th Kerry Ladies v Donegal (home)
Two teams will emerge from each group to contest the quarter-finals over the August Bank Holiday weekend; the semi-finals are pencilled in for August 14, and the Final will be played at Croke Park on Sunday, September 5.
KERRY LADIES NATIONAL LEAGUE
Well done to Kerry Ladies team and management, especially Spa’s Niamh Kearney and Cassandra Buckley, on their comprehensive win over Wexford on Sunday afternoon, making it 3 wins from 3 games.
They have qualified for the Division 2 league semi-finals next weekend and will play Monaghan while Cavan play Meath in the other semi-final. Fixture details TBC.
NATIONAL LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL
Best of luck to the Kerry senior team and management, especially Dara Moynihan and Liam Kearney, against Tyrone this Saturday June 12th at 5pm in Fitzgerald Stadium in the NFL semi-finals.
The game will be televised on TG4.

ROAD WORKS BETWEEN THE WOODLINE AND SPA GAA CLUB
Due to road restoration and drainage works, the L-3010 road between Woodline Road and L-3010 on the Spa road at Kilbrean, and the Spa GAA grounds and Tiernaboul West Cross will be closed to traffic from tomorrow, Tuesday 8th June to Friday 11th June.
Works are scheduled to take place from 7am-6.30pm.
Detours will be in place for the duration of the works.

The Spa GAA merchandise shop (top of the stairs in reception) will be open on Saturday mornings from 10am - 11am. Any queries on gear for adults or juveniles please contact Mathilda on 087 6487356.
