EASTER CAMP IN SPA 
The Spa GAA Easter Camp returns this April from Monday 11th to Friday 15th. The camp is for primary school children and will take place each day from 9am - 1pm at the Spa GAA club grounds in Tullig. There will be week of activities, including tag rugby, treasure hunt, basketball, art, gaelic football, rounders, handball and more!

EAST KERRY ALL STAR AWARDS 
Congratulations to our Spa players nominated for the East Kerry All Stars - Niall McCarthy, Brian Lynch, Dan O'Donoghue, Mike Foley and Ryan O'Carroll.

The East Kerry All Stars Awards are on this Friday March 25th at the Gleneagle Hotel & tickets are available from our Spa Chairman Michael Cronin (085 8213027).

As well as the 2020 All Star team, the Senior Player of the Year and the Young Player of the Year will be announced. Gneeveguilla’s Johnny Barry will be inducted to the East Kerry Hall of Fame while Glenflesk’s Seamus Healy is the East Kerry Person of the Year. 

 

WARM WELCOME FROM CROSSMAGLEN GAA
Our thanks to Crossmaglen GAA club in Armagh who gave some of our members and Kerry supporters a very warm welcome to their club last weekend. 

 

COMMISERATIONS 
Commiseration to the Sem team and management on their Hogan Cup final loss last Thursday. A highly competitive game with some outstanding quality football, but unfortunately fell just short to Naas CBS.  

  

SPA GAA ACADEMY
Our Spa GAA Academy continues every Saturday morning from 10am - 11am for girls and boys from u5 to u9. In Spa we cater for independent 3 year olds and upwards, and membership is FREE for u5s and u6s.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to any girls or boys from the Killarney area who would like to join Spa GAA, just come along any Saturday morning.

2022 MEMBERSHIP 
Membership is open on www.spagaa.com or the registrars will be at the clubhouse again this Wednesday March 23rd from 7pm-8pm. All players (senior & juvenile), Scór competitors etc must be registered before training, playing games or using the gym.

*Registration deadline is March 31st*  

  

KILLARNEY CLUB 7S 
Tickets for the Spa GAA Killarney Club 7s are on sale online on www.killarneyclub7s.ie. Open to everyone, this will be a huge event at the Spa GAA grounds over the June Bank Holiday weekend (June 4th & 5th) with mens and ladies teams from around Ireland competing and live music each day as well as a Rockshore marquee.

CO LEAGUE RD1 SPA 4-11 BALLYMAC 1-10 
Spa travelled to Ballymacelligott on Sunday afternoon for Rd1 of the Co League and with the aid of a strong breeze in the opening half and three goals in quick succession, we secured our first two points of the year. (Full match report available here on spagaa.com)

We are home to Legion in Rd2 on the weekend of April 2nd/3rd (fixture details TBC).

DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE / SENIOR B 
Our senior B team have their first game next Saturday March 26th in the new development league and they play Listowel Emmets in Listowel at 5pm. Best of luck to manager Timmy Fleming and his team and management. 

 

CO MINOR LEAGUE
Spa hosted Ballyduff on Saturday afternoon in Rd3 of the Co Minor League. A free-ridden game that Ballyduff won out by 2-11 to 0-9. Spa are away to Listowel Emmets at 4pm next Saturday in Rd4.      

 

SCÓR NA NÓG
Spa are the 2022 Scór na nÓg Set Dancing  Co. Champions. Well done to our dancers Roisín, Isibéal, Gráinne, Aoife, Dara, Diarmuid, Colm, Oisín and Laura and to coaches Triona & Mairead Mangan and our Spa Scór Officer Eileen Aherne. Munster Finals take place in Cashel, Co. Tipperary on April 3rd.

SPA AWARDS NIGHT
Next Saturday March 26th the club will celebrate our annual awards night, the first club social since 2020. The event takes place at the Killarney Heights Hotel with music from Super Céilí.   

 

KERRY LADIES
Well done to Cassandra Buckley and the Kerry ladies team & management on their Div2 semi-final win over Monaghan on Sunday. They are due to play Armagh in the National League Division 2 Final on Sunday April 10th (details TBC).      

 

NATIONAL LEAGUE 
Well done to Dan O’Donoghue, Dara Moynihan, Arthur Fitzgerald and the Kerry team & management on their Rd6 National League win over Armagh on Sunday to secure their place in the 2022 League Final. Best of luck this Sunday March 27th against Tyrone in the final round (1.45pm, Fitzgerald Stadium).   

 

SPA LOTTO
Spa lotto results 14/03/2022: Numbers drawn 2, 15, 17, 26. No winner and €50 Lucky Dips to Bridie Hickey, Ian Aherne, Tara & Anissa Fleming and Paul Herlihy.

SPA KILLARNEY HANDBALL CLUB 1-WALL TOURNAMENT 
Best of luck to Spa Killarney Handball Club and all players competing in the 1-Wall National Tournament this Saturday 26th of March. This is a very proud day for Spa Killarney Handball Club to host a national tournament as the handball club was only established in 2018.

Big names on the day to play are Spa Killarney members Aoife Walsh and Sinead Moriarty who were tournament winners in Tyrone recently. Spectators are welcome on the day.

Competition starts from 12noon on Saturday and admission is free (address is Tullig, Killarney V93 KN53).
