Club Notes (May 27th 2019)

U12 Boys

On Sunday evening our U12 B team put up a great battle with An Gaeltacht. Playing against a strong breeze in the first half, Spa did very well to go in only 2 points down at half time. In the second half Spa came out fighting and levelled things up with 10 minutes to go. However, An Gaeltacht proved too strong in the end and the game finished 4-04 to 2-06. It was a great performance by Spa considering most of the team is made up from our U10's. We look forward to taking on Rathmore nextweek.

U14 Girls

Spa U14 Girls hosted Castlegregory in Spa on Sunday 26th May. 12 a side made it a very fast paced game with Grace O'Connor for Spa scoring a goal in the 1st half to keep in touch with the visitors at half time but Castlegregory found another gear in the second half to win comfortably. Spa held huge possession in the game and showed great potential for the future, they meet Austin Stacks next week.
