East Kerry Bill Tangney Cup Final

Result: Spa 0-12 / Scartaglen 2-9Scartaglen pulled of a very impressive win against our juniors, to claim the East Kerry Bill Tagney Cup title. Both teams played extremely well, with a well-balanced composition throughout. Both teams' midfielders were outstanding, with Corey Doyle punishing the opposition with every free he took. Scartaglen's forward line were constantly pushing up, and forcing Spa to give up frees. Going into the second half,  it was still anyone's game, with Spa at 0-4 and Scartaglen at 1-5.During the second half, Spa fought hard to narrow the gap, but it wasn't to be their game. Despite goals and excellent plays from David, Conor, Mikey, Nial, Hugh, Mike, Corey and Brian, Spa was unable to pull ahead and the game ended with Spa at 0-12, and Scartaglen at 2-9.Spa players: Conor Kerins, Paudie O'Donoghue, Brian Devane, Eoin Cronin, Aflie Giles, Hugh O'Donoghue (Capt), Niall O'Mahony (0-2),  David Spillane (0-1), Corey Doyle (0-6), Mike McCarthy (0-1), Mikey Moynihan (0-1), Paul Cahill, Conor Gleeson (0-1), John Flavey and Conor Stack.Subs: Eoin Fitzgerald, Gary Vaughan, Pa Murphy, Mike Shannon and Michael Aherne.
