Spa 7-14 Currow 6-15

An incredibly high scoring game with some brilliant play from both teams.

The first half had some excellent scoring and by half time the scoreboard was already showing signs of a great game, with Spa trailing 3-8 to 4-11 at the break. The Spa goals in the first half came from Ryan Kelliher, Oisin Walsh and Michael Horgan.

Both sides kicked early goals at the start of the second half, Cian Murphy with the Spa goal, and we soon trailed 4-9 to 5-13. A strong last quarter and more outstanding scores on both sides and Spa were catching up, with just a point between the teams after Oisin Walsh finished two more shots to the back of the net, making it 6-10 to 5-14.

Michael Kearney netted the seventh Spa goal and in the end they ran out two point winners on an incredible scoreline of 7-14 to 6-15.
