At the Club AGM in January 2011, there was a proposal that the club establish a Senior Ladies Football team. The proposal was passed and for the first time in the club’s history, a Spa Senior Ladies team was entered for league and championship competition that year.
The club started in Division 4 of the Co League and as well as winning the Junior C Championship in their first year, they also won the Division 2 Shield.
