London is calling for a group of Kerry handball stars

London is calling for a group of Kerry handball stars who are set to take on the best handballers in Europe next month.

Members of Spa Killarney Handball Club and Glenbeigh Handball Club are taking part in the United Kingdom Open One Wall championship, which are part of the highly prestigious European Tour which takes place at venues all over Europe. Taking place on May 14 and 15, the event has valuable grading points on offer with newcomers Spa Killarney making their debut at the event.

Aoife Walsh from Currow GAA Club is the outstanding player so far this year as she picked up a trophy in Tyrone and In the local Competition that was held in Spa last month. Aoife is playing in the Ladies B Tournament if she brings back more silverware she will be put down in the European rankings.

Brendan O' Donoghue is playing in the masters over 45 his category are considered to be at a high standard and Brendan will have to be on his A game throughout this Tournament to get a win .

Sinéad Moriarty is also playing in the Ladies B category, Sinéad will be hoping for more silverware as she also won a trophy in Tyrone in the doubles Tournament, she will be pairing up with Aoife over in London the duo hope to add another trophy to the cabinet .

Eoin O' Donoghue entered the men's C grade the standard of this Competition is high so Eoin will need to be firing on all cylinders and need to stay focused on the day to get a win.
