The ABCs, U6s and U8s have returned to training on Saturday mornings, at 10am. The U12s will continue with their training indoors, every Friday night.

New members are always welcome.

5th Annual Awards Night

Spa GAA Club celebrated their annual Awards Night last Saturday February 2nd at the Torc Hotel with a full house on the night. Well done to the Awards Committee, Andrew Garnett, Anne Holland, Adrian O Sullivan, Mathilda McCarthy, Ivor Flynn and Seanie Kelliher, for organising another sold out event and congratulations to all the Nominees and Award Recipients on the night:

Well done to the Sem on their 2-11 to 0-8 victory over Clonakilty CC in the Corn Ui Mhuiri Munster semi-final on Saturday, especially to Dr Gary Stack and our Spa players Ryan Kelliher, Gary Vaughan and Liam Spillane. They will now play PCD Corca Dhuibhne in an all-Kerry Munster Final on Saturday February 23rd (time & venue tbc)

Operation Transformation

Everyone (members and non-members) is invited to come along to Spa this Thursday night for Week 4 of the Ireland Lights Up Operation Transformation walk. A walking trail at the club is lit up each Thursday night from 7pm-9pm for everyone in the community to come along and take part, with refreshments in the clubhouse after.

2019 Registration

Is currently open and will continue until March 31st. All members - Adult and Juvenile - are asked to register as soon as possible either directly with the registrars at the clubhouse reception on Thursday nights from 7pm-9pm or online through the Register Now button on the website

Foundation Level Course for New Referees

or those who haven't been active for a while and wish to attend, will be held in the Centre of Excellence in Currans on Friday 8th & Friday 15th February at 7.30pm. Any members interested in attending please contact the club secretary on 087 633 2773 before Friday 8th Feb

Spa Killarney Handball Club 

Continue to meet in the Sports Hall in Spa every Friday night from 8pm-10pm. The Handball Club is open to male and female players over the age of 18 living in Killarney and the surrounding areas, and new members are always welcome. For enquiries, please contact Tadhg on 087 289 0522

County Scene

Well done to Dara Moynihan and the Kerry senior team and management on their victory over Cavan in the National League Rd2 last weekend. Best wishes to all in Rd3 this Saturday night February 9th v Dublin (7pm) in Austin Stack Park, Tralee. Congratulations also to Donal O'Doherty and Tim O'Connor with the Kerry Ladies senior management on their draw with Clare on Sunday.
