CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RD1
Spa play Dingle in Rd1 of the Senior Club on Saturday August 6th (7pm in Strand Rd).    

  

DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE DIVISION 2 SHIELD FINAL

 Spa 1-7 Kilcummin 1-11
Hard luck to our Senior B team and management who lost out to Kilcummin B last Friday night in the Development League Division 2 Shield Final on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-7. 

  

EAST KERRY JUNIOR LEAGUE 
East Kerry Junior League continues this Tuesday July 19th with Spa home to Firies (7.30pm).     

   

ALL IRELAND FINAL 
Wishing the best of luck to the Kerry Senior team and management in the All Ireland Final this Sunday against Galway, with special mention to Spa players Dara Moynihan and Dan O’Donoghue and former Spa coach Arthur Fitzgerald.  

  

KERRY LADIES INTO THE ALL IRELAND LGFA FINAL
Congratulations to Cassandra Buckley and the Kerry Ladies team and management on their All-Ireland semi-final win over Mayo LGFA on Saturday. They play Meath LGFA in the All Ireland Senior Championship Final on July 30th in Croke Park.  

 

SPA GAA LOTTO

SUCCESSFUL GOLF CLASSIC 
Spa GAA Club held yet another successful Golf Classic, on Friday July 8, with around 60 teams taking part on the Mahony’s Point Course, Killarney Golf Club. The golfers played in excellent conditions for attractive prizes and there was high scoring all round.

Team Evan Cronin just edged out Team James Devane by a single Stableford point for first prize, 100 points to 99 points.

Organising committee chairman Billy Morris thanked all the people and teams who supported the event, those who sponsored tee-boxes and, especially, the main sponsors, Killarney Oaks, Killarney Oils and Tricel.  

“It was a tremendous effort by all involved and our hard-working committee help run a key fund-raising event for the Spa club. Many club members helped out on the day and we’re also grateful to them,’’ he said. The prize-giving ceremony was in the Killarney Oaks Hotel.

HANDS FOR LIFE TRAINING 
All Spa GAA football coaches were invited to attend a *'Hands for Life Training'* in Spa clubhouse this week.This is CPR and use of the defibrillator training. The training was provided free of charge by Killarney Cardiac Response Unit.

Formed in 2015, Killarney Cardiac Response Unit is a voluntary unit of over 40 members from all sectors of society. Killarney Cardiac Response Unit respond to 999/112 emergency Cardiac Phone calls in conjunction with the National Ambulance Service. Killarney Cardiac Response are on the scene as soon as possible until The National Ambulance Service arrive on scene. Why? Because Every Second Counts.

SPA CILL AIRNE FLEADH 
The Comhaltas branch of Killarney CCE, Spa Cill Airne was very successful at the Munster Fleadh last week in Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick. Standard once again in Munster was extraordinarily high with Kerry branches very successful.

The champions and runner up go on to represent Munster in the All Ireland which will be held in Mullingar this year between 5-7th August. Well done to everyone involved from Spa GAA club, especially dance mentors Triona and Mairead Mangan.
